Projects headMembers of the Chelsea Men's Shed work on a variety of projects - some have items they would like to make, with assistance from other members and using the Shed's equipment and power tools. They also work on community projects or requests from the public.

Debra, a local resident brought in a tricycle she had ridden on as a little girl. Her father had taken the trike apart some years ago, and it has been slowly resting ever since.

The Shed are going to restore it to something of its former glory, with the aid of an original photo.

Stay tuned for updates.

Members are welcome to bring in items that require maintenance. In this case a woodworking vice needs new jaws as the old ones have finally given up after years of holding wood steady for a chainsaw.

After cutting the new jaws to size, mounting holes are drilled with the drill press.

The Shed has taken on the job of refinishing a number of wooden chairs for a local golf club.

Members of the Shed have worked together to build a number of small projects. These range from garden ornaments and toy trains to keepsake chests and letterboxes.

Alan has recently completed restoring and repainting this amazing weathervane from the roof of his house.
