Meals Provided

Another good reason to become a member of the Chelsea Men's Shed. Thanks to the Kingston Council, we are now able to provide our members light meals at a number of our sessions.

Every third Saturday of the month, we have a sausage sizzle for those attending the shed.

Every Thurday we provide a light meal to those attending on the day.

We thank our resident Chefs Bob & Rob for these fine cooked meals.

Where are we located

The new shed is located at 71 Catherine Ave.

It's opposite the bowling club, on the corner of Catherine Ave and Beardsworth Ave Chelsea.

Come down and have a look around, and join up.

 

We're open for business

Chelsea Men's shed is currently open and actively seeking new members. 

Sitting at home doing nothing, bored with watching the same old TV shows? Got some spare time and wondering what to do?

Well why not come down to your local Men's Shed located at 71 Catherine Ave Chelsea look out for our signs, come and enjoy the company of other like minded blokes keen on doing a bit of woodwork.

You can start on something simple like a bird nesting box, or bring one of your own projects.

Now that we are located in our new home we have extended the hours of operation.

The shed will be open on Mondays to Thursday 9.00 am to 1.00pm and Saturdays 9.00am - 1.00 pm.
The intention is to operate 6 days a week Monday - Saturday 9.00 am - 5.00pm once we have the demand and the volunteers to manage the shed.

We have several active projects on the go and are building up our collection of items to sell at the Boneach primary school farmers market
